Permanent placements come with a three-month guarantee, while temporary staff are 100% guaranteed. These guarantees do require clarification, so please discuss them with us.

We understand there is often an urgent need for staff and can usually source staff to meet your requirements as quickly as possible pending on the skill set you need.

Our recruitment and selection process includes:

  • Candidate identification: via our own database, internet and print advertising
  • Candidate evaluation: experience, skills, qualifications, medical and drug tests if required.
  • Comprehensive behavioural based interviewing
  • Background checks: reference checking, police vetting, credit history, and work visa verification.

Once we’ve placed a candidate with you, our candidate care process keeps us in touch with both parties to ensure successful orientation into your workplace. Our commitment to post-placement support and working safely in your environment ensures our commitment to maintain a successful relationship.

The minimum temporary assignment duration is four hours and there is no maximum. Some of our clients have had Abbey Road staff on their books for 4 years!

Please contact us so we can finalise the paperwork and final wages for the individual and discuss their transition from employment with Abbey Road Recruitment to employment with your company. We will be in touch with the employee on a regular basis to ensure an easy transition into the job and we will be available to help iron out any issues that may arise.

In the case of permanent recruitment, we provide a three-month guarantee with terms and conditions and a post-placement support for both our client and the candidate.

You will receive one invoice per week that covers all costs – including statutory holidays, ACC levies, sick pay, bereavement leave, Kiwisaver and holiday pay/annual leave.

Our temporary staff will typically work the same hours that your staff work. You won’t have to pay for statutory holiday costs (we cover these costs) although if you require the temporary worker to work on the actual statutory holiday, they are entitled to be paid T1.5 and this will impact the cost of wages.
